The North Gulfport Civic Club was established in October of 1958 to foster educational and health programs, to combat the causes of juvenile delinquency, and to achieve a better standard of good government. The North Gulfport Civic Club was established in October of 1958 to foster educational and health programs, to combat the causes of juvenile delinquency, and to achieve a better standard of good government. The original founding members of October 1958 were President J.R. Davis, Vice President John A. Knox, Hannah Lee Knox, George Washington, Amos Crouch and Sam Moore.
In September of 1978 the North Gulfport Civic Club’s charter was amended. The Civic Club pledged to restore and substantially improve the employment and income standard of residents of the North Gulfport Community. Second, to assist local organizations and or government to develop or implement comprehensive economic development strategies. Third, to supplement and foster the development of local organizations in order to improve their ability to plan and coordinate local programs to improve economic conditions and address employment needs of residents in the area. Fourth to provide financial assistance for the construction or renovation of facilities which will enhance private sector investment and provide employment opportunities.
The North Gulfport Civic Club welcomes you to our community! Our organization meets every fourth Saturday with the exception of holiday months at 10 AM at the Isiah Fredericks Center located in North Gulfport. The address is 3312 Martin Luther King Jr, Gulfport, MS 39501.

Currently, in person meetings are being held. However, if COVID 19 is a concerned, meetings are also hosted on Zoom!
